This is update 50, what an adventure it has been! This time last year we were just starting the second week of our Kickstarter and since then so much has happened.

In many ways I am sad the adventure is ending, but equally I am thrilled that the game has arrived at your tables and now a new adventure can begin!

Shipping status - Everyone

As of today, all shipping notifications should have been received, if you have not received a tracking code, then please email [email protected] and I will be able to investigate this for you.

If you have received your tracking code, but not your game, then please continue to monitor it and I'll send another update soon for you to get in touch.

Hey everyone, what a crazy month it has been! For the past 5 weeks I've been working with our fulfilment partners to make sure every game gets sent out and today I'm pleased to confirm that all games have now been shipped.

I've not received my game, or a tracking notification

OK, so a few of you may not have received anything yet, do not worry!

We still need a few more days before we can check up on tracking codes, some of them will take a while to get to you, but next week I can let you know what to do if you are still waiting.

Online Store Launched

I am pleased to announce our online store has launched and you can now buy the extra addons, accessories, art book and prints you may have missed out on during the Kickstarter.

Please note. The stocks are limited, and we have already sold over 30% of some of the items.

New Kickstarter!

In case you missed it, earlier this week I announced we would be doing a reprint on Kickstarter launching April 17th!

The new Kickstarter will feature the original game, addons and accessories, along with new content which I'll be announcing in the next couple of weeks. I really hope some of you will be joining me on the next part of this adventure.

There will also be an updated rulebook with some extra clarifications of some rules available.The updated rulebook will  be available digitally for anyone who is happy to print it at home.

Create your own characters and scenarios

Earlier this week I released the character sheet template and a design your own scenario kit on Board Game Geek. I know a lot of people have been wanting to create their own scenarios since the Kickstarter first launched and I hope this will help you get started. I can't wait to play some of your ideas, and who knows, they may end up in a future expansion (with your permission of course)!

Shipping update 3 - We're nearly done!

Current shipping status: America/Asia/Australia/Canada have finished shipping. EU/Rest of the World finishes this week!

Hey everyone, 

I hope you had a good weekend?  

The City of Kings has been shipping for nearly a month and I wanted to let you know where we are at, shipping is nearly complete!  

America, Asia, Australia, Canada,

All games in these regions have now shipped, and you should have either received your game or a tracking notification. If you have not received either, please email me using [email protected] and I will check to make sure your game has shipped.  

There is no need to worry! There will be a few people whose tracking codes just simply haven’t been received and I will help get this sorted for you.  

Europe and the Rest of the World  

Shipping for these regions will finish in the next few days and the last tracking notifications will be sent out within the week. If you haven’t received either your game or a tracking notification, then there is no need to worry or contact me yet. I will send out an update next week letting you know when it is time to message me. 

Buying extras and addons 

A lot of people have been asking how they can purchase the artbook and other addons that were available during the Kickstarter. I wanted to get shipping finished before launching our online store but at this point can say I will send out an update within the next 10 days detailing the time the online store will go live.

Crazy week!

Hey Everyone,

What a crazy week it has been! The response to The City of Kings has been overwhelming and I’m grateful for all your feedback. We’ve been getting some great reviews and I want to thank everyone who has rated the game! Rating the game spreads the word and has already helped introduce hundreds of new people to our world.

We’ve just about sold out of all our stock around the world and are now looking into options for reprinting the game, but for our wonderful backers, that’s less important than a shipping update! 

Asia, America, Australia, Canada  

All games have now been processed and sent out from the fulfilment centres. If you have not already received your game, or a tracking code, you will do within the next week. This still accounts for about 15% of people, so please be patient just a little while longer!

Europe and the rest of the world  

Games have been shipping all around the world from Gamesquest for the past week and people are getting tracking notifications every day. We’re hopeful all games will have left the fulfilment centre by the end of next week.

General shipping note  

No matter where you are in the world, there is no need to worry if you’ve not received tracking information yet. I will let you know in future updates if this changes.

Airecon  

Airecon was fantastic, thank you to everyone who came and played the game! It was so nice to meet you all and a special thanks to those who came to my show on the Saturday!
